The national Scouting America policy is for all volunteers to complete S.A.F.E. Guarding Youth training.  This will help prepare you to ensure a safe environment for the youth in your care. 

 

The only way to complete S.A.F.E. Guarding Youth Training is to go to my.scouting.org andcreate an account.  You do not need a Scouting America member ID to set up an account.  

 

How to take the S.A.F.E. Guarding Youth Training:

1. In your internet browser enter my.scouting.org.

2. If you do not have an account, please click the “Create Account” tab and follow the directions. Please make a note of your membership ID # that is generated on the screen.  After finishing this step – please proceed to Step #3.

3. If you do have an account, please log in and click on the right-hand side of the screen will be the Youth Protection logo. Click the logo here to take training.

4. Upon completion, your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you.
