Who we are
The BSA Winterfest mobile app is published by the Northeast Georgia Council, Scouting America ("we," "us") in support of the BSA Winterfest event held annually in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us when you use the app:
• Your email address — used to verify your identity when you view "My Tickets."
• Your name — collected by our event website (bsawinterfest.org) when you buy a ticket; shown back to you in the app.
• Your ticket purchase history — the orders you've completed on our event site.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, health data, or any device identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
How we use it
Your email lets us send a one-time verification code so only you can see your tickets. Your name and purchase history are shown to you inside the app's "My Tickets" tab. That's it.
Where it lives
All purchase data and login sessions are stored on our Wix website (bsawinterfest.org), which is hosted by Wix.com Ltd. and protected by their security practices. Payment information is handled by Wix Payments and our payment processor — we never see or store your credit card number.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us run the event (e.g. Wix for site hosting and payments).
Your choices
You can sign out of the app at any time from the My Tickets tab. To request deletion of your account data, email us at the address below; we will remove your row from our event database and confirm in writing.
Children
The app is intended for use by participants, advisors and visitors in connection with a Scouting America event. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except through a parent or registered Scout leader.
